The art of the Iznik potter has been admired for centuries, occupying a unique status among Islamic ceramics. Although the Ottoman Empire's ceramic supremacy lasted little more than a hundred years, numerous examples have survived.  Many of these are housed in the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia, where the brilliance of Iznik colours and the originality of their designs are clearly apparent. This small book provides an introduction to a genre that is now more sought after than ever.
