Sejarah Sintang - The History Of Sintang: A Collection Of Books, Manuscripts, Archives and Articles. The first journal of the 2004 Cultural Centre at Sintang, West Kalimantan brings together bibliographies, a chronology, archival maps, photographs, and records which present Western perspectives on Sintang, a centre for Dutch rule and activity 1822-1942. It is now an important provincial city where in recent years mass migration from more populous areas of Indonesia has led to violence and upheaval. It is hoped that other non-colonial views of Sintang's rich history will appear in later publications. Bilingual in Bahasa Indonesia.
