Poetic of Place: Comparative Perspectives on Austronesian Ideas of Locality. This collection of papers is the fourth in a series of volumes on the work of the Comparative Austronesian Project. This volume considers common patterns in the representation of place among Austronesian-speaking populations. Each paper is this book describes a specific locality and considers both the cultural creation of this setting and the ways in which knowledge is maintained and remembered in relation to it.
