This volume of recollections, letters of press records and photographs charts the public career of Lawyer Chong Kah Kiat, born in Kudat, Sabah and for 26 years its Alliance Party MP, and from 2000-2002 Sabah's Chief Minister. There are many sidelights onto the events in Tan Sri Chong's career and the problems, personalities and opposition he had to deal with. His achievements as an effective Minister of Tourism 2002-2006, and his resignation of August 2006 are also noted.
