The Moken Sea Gypsies are a small group of sea nomads from the islands off Myanmar, Thailand and North Malaysia. This softback is the true story of a Myanmar Christian woman missionary who is also an anthropologist, pioneer educator and linguist/translator. She has lived for 33 years with the Moken people, promoted more recognition of the Moken language, founded two beginning schools and translated large parts of the bible.
