Asian Culture is a bilingual academic journal published by the SSAS.  It was inaugurated in February 1983. The journal was originally a bi-yearly periodical, but became a yearly publication in 1990.  It is an international refereed journal that publishes quality research papers in the fields of Asian literature, history and philosophy.  Nevertheless, Asean Culture is known to be particularly reputable in the area of South East Asia studies.
