This volume features a collection of 132 paintings completed by artist and Cultural Medallion recipient Lim Tze Peng between 1968 and 1983. These Chinese ink on paper paintings depict the people, scenes and flavour of life in Malay kampongs in Singapore during the 1970s, and capture an important part of our cultural and national history. It represents the first time these early works by Lim have been gathered in whole and featured.
