Hong Kong artist Cheung Yee (b. 1936) is seen as a pioneer in modern Chinese sculpture. He has reinvigorated Chinese artistic traditions in sculpture while modernising sculptural form. His work can be found in numerous museums and private collections around the world, from Taiwan to Mexico. This book catalogues his sculptures in bronze, wood, and cast paper from 1964 to 2007. It also features a commentary on his art and an interview with the artist himself.
