This volume presents and catalogues some 140 ceramic artefacts of the Neolithic period in the Muwen Tang collection. These come from various areas of China and most date from the mid-Neolithic Period 5000-3000 BCE. After a background chapter each of the functional or decorative objects is discussed with provenance details, a line drawing and a colour photograph. Bilingual in Chinese, with bibliography in Chinese.
