These nine essays by members of the Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore, are on specialized legal topics and written in honour of the life work of three of the faculty's most distinguished Professors of Law. Peter Ellinger, a specialist in banking law, became the faculty's first Emeritus Professor in 1998. Singapore-born Emeritus Professor Koh Kheng Lian was one of the earliest law students at NUS and almost all her distinguished career has been based there, where she has been a specialist in criminal and environmental law. Professor Tan Sook Yee, formerly Dean, has been known mainly as a specialist in land law and equity. Brief biographical overviews introduce the essays, which are on subjects related to the expertise of the professors so honoured. With tables of Cases and Statutes cited and index.
