Upon China's entry to the WTO, then Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji proposed to Asean the formation of a 10 + 1, an enlarged free trade area that lifts trade barriers between China and the 10 Asean members, and later 10 + 3, with the inclusion of Japan and Korea. This book is a collection of papers in Chinese and English presented at the 2002 Asean-China Partnership Forum organised by the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce. This forum is the private sector's attempt to promote their role in this emerging partnership. A VCD of highlighted events at the 2-day conference is enclosed.
